Chris Chan: Controversial Internet Icon Announces Pregnancy Amid Speculation and Doubt
The internet was rocked by an interesting piece of news of a transgender announcing her pregnancy.
Remember the comic series Sonicu– a fusion of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu and its creator Chris Chan?
Chen revealed,
“When the child, when the child is coming into play for summer/ somewhere around that point or I just might keep y’all in the dark and let y’all know until and wait till after the child is born.”
The cartoon creator was arrested in 2021 when she admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with her 79-year-old mother who was afflicted with dementia.
Her attorney had contended that Chan was suffering from mental ailments which provoked her to make such outlandish statements on the controversial matter. Chan spent two years in jail before she was released in March in 2023.

The news was received with much enthusiasm by her fans but many have expressed doubts about the ability of the 42-year-old to take care of the baby considering her disturbed past.
One user posted,
“Is this the first sign of the apocalypse?”
A second user tweeted,
“This can’t be true.”
Many users have started to speculate who their partner is related to the pregnancy. Many have even stated that it could be Chan’s close friend Flutter.
The two developed a deep bond when Chan was serving her sentence at the Central Virginia Regional Jail from 2021 to 2023.

For the unversed Flutter is a woman aged 30 and is better known by her nickname “Fluttershy”, a character from My Little Pony due to her childlike demeanour.
Chan has consistently maintained that she is not in a romantic relationship with Flutter but fans have seen them displaying their deep affection for one another publically on numerous occasions.
Chang’s pregnancy bombshell has only strengthened these rumours.
Chris Chan whose original name is Christopher Weston Chandler finished her graduation in Computer Aided Drafting and Design in 2006 from the Piedmont Virginia Community College. Her picture which was taken at a gaming store became an internet sensation.
However, these photographs led to her enduring a lot of trolling for her looks. Chang finally revealed in August 2014 that she was transgender and after two years rechristened herself as Christine. She is presently located in Big Island, Virginia
