WATCH: CISF Official Slaps Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport, Video Goes Viral

Kangana Ranaut, the famous Bollywood celebrity and the BJP’s MP-elect from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi, alleged that she got slapped by a CISF security official.

This incident occurred on Thursday when the actress was at the Chandigarh Airport getting ready to travel to Delhi.

Ranaut said that when she was with the security check and was getting ready to proceed at the boarding point, a female CISF official, Kulwinder Kaur, came to her and argued with her, resulting in slapping her at the end.

The reason behind the slapping is alleged to be the actress’ provocative remarks on women in Punjab. In one of the tweets, Kangana had mocked the women who were protesting in Punjab to earn Rs 100.

Following the incident, the CISF officer, Kulwinder Kaur, was suspended with immediate effect.

Kangana Ranaut Speaks Up on X

Shortly after the incident, Kangana Ranaut posted a video message on X. She said that the lady constable was in support of the farmers’ protest. Then she ended the video stating what can be done to control the upsurging extremism in Punjab.

News 18 reported that, Kangana Ranaut said, “Namastey dosto! I have been getting a lot of phone calls from the media and my well-wishers. I am safe, I am perfectly fine. What happened at the Chandigarh airport today was during the security check. When I left after the security check, the CISF personnel hit me on my face. She abused me. When I asked her why she did it, she told me that she supports farmers’ protests. I am safe but my concern is, how do we handle terror in Punjab?.”

Another video surfaced on the social media from the airport featured constable Kulwinder stating, “My mother was also among the protesters when she [Kangana] made these remarks.”

Kulwinder Kaur was sent for questioning to the CISF Commandant’s Office.

When Kangana Ranaut arrived in Delhi, she met Nina Singh, the CISF Director General and some other senior officials. The actress explained to them the incident.

India Today reported that a probe panel has been established in this regard to investigate the claims by Kangana Ranaut.
