Class 10 student commits suicide in Delhi, police probing all angles including denial of exam admit card

A 16-year-old student from Army Public School, Shankar Vihar in Delhi, committed suicide by hanging himself at his house. The deceased was allegedly denied his admit card for board exams, prompting an investigation. The boy’s parents, along with the school principal, are being probed in connection with the incident.

The deceased, a 10th grade student at Army Public School, was found hanging with a chunni at his residence. No suicide note was found, and the autopsy was conducted on Tuesday. The father of the deceased is a soldier and the mother is a housewife.

The denial of the admit card for the board exams is being investigated as a possible motive for the suicide. The police official confirmed, “Facts regarding admit card are being verified. No complaint has been submitted by parents/anyone in the matter as of now. Further investigation is underway from all angles.”

A social media post by a user named Mukul alleged that the boy was denied an admit card for his board exams. The post mentioned, “A young boy, aggrieved by the illegal denial of the issue of Admit Card for his Board Exams and insult to his mother by the Principal, a precious life has been lost.”

The post also called for a case of abetment to suicide to be registered against the principal and for a thorough investigation to be carried out. It further alleged that the principal was “now trying to terrorise the students to not to speak” about the matter.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation into all aspects of the case, including the allegations of denial of the admit card for the board exams. The boy’s tragic death has sparked outrage and calls for action against those responsible for the denial of the admit card and the alleged mistreatment by the school principal. More details are expected to emerge as the investigation continues.
