Class 8 student thrashed to death in Delhi

A 14-year-old boy died after a brutal altercation in northeast Delhi’s Brahmpuri area. The incident occurred on Friday at 2.15 p.m., with the victim succumbing to injuries. The deceased was a Class 8 student in a private school and had injuries to the head, face, and left hand, as per DCP Joy Tirkey.

DCP Joy Tirkey mentioned that the boy was declared brought dead at JPC Hospital, and it appears he had an altercation with another boy post-school hours. The police have registered a case of murder at New Usmanpur police station and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits and understand the sequence of events.
