Classic Golf & Country Club in Gurgaon Hosts Gurgaon Open with Pro-Am event on April 20

The Gurgaon Open, a professional golf tournament organized by the PGTI, commenced at the Classic Golf & Country Club in Nuh, Haryana on Tuesday and will continue until April 19. The event features top Indian and international golfers competing for a prize purse of Rs 1 crore.

The tournament includes players like Manu Gandas, Rashid Khan, N Thangaraja, K Prabagaran, and Matias Dominguez among others. The CEO of PGTI, Uttam Singh Mundy, expressed his excitement about the competition and the importance of the event for the TATA Steel PGTI Ranking.

Rishi Mattu, Head of ITC Classic Golf & Country Club, highlighted the club’s commitment to promoting Indian professional golf and providing a platform for players to showcase their talent. The club is known for its world-class facilities and the stunning 27-hole signature golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The Gurgaon Open powered by Amrutanjan aims to attract golf enthusiasts and provide an engaging experience for both players and spectators. The competition is expected to be fierce as professionals vie for a strong finish before the first half of the season concludes this week.
