New Delhi, March 5 (IANS) The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) announced that Cognizant’s CEO Ravi Kumar S has joined its Board of Directors. Kumar is known for leading Cognizant, the second-largest employer in India among multinationals, with 70% of employees based in India.
Apart from his role at Cognizant, Kumar is also a member of the Board of Directors of TransUnion and the US Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the board of governors of the New York Academy of Sciences.
Expressing his gratitude, Kumar stated, “I am honoured to join the USISPF Board of Directors. I believe that the tech talent in India plays a crucial role in driving economic success for both countries.”
Since taking over as CEO in January 2023, Kumar has focused on ensuring sustainable growth and prioritizing long-term shareholder value at Cognizant. USISPF President and CEO, Dr Mukesh Aghi, highlighted the importance of India’s robust tech talent in strengthening the tech sector within the US.
