Record 35738 vaccinations a day

A record 35738 people got vaccinated on one day in Delhi on Monday. It has the highest number of elderly people. In 20123 elderly over 60 years took their first dose of the vaccine. At the same time, 2710 people over 45 years of age got the Corona Vaccine. In addition, 3252 front line and 2337 health care workers got vaccinated. While 7316 health care and front line workers took the second dose of the vaccine. 1 case of mild side effects occurred. 15485 (68 Tn) people over 60 years of age and over 45 years old suffering from serious illness got vaccinated in private hospitals and 7348 (32 Tn) people in government hospitals.

6423 Second dose of vaccine to health care and front line workers

The number of elderly people at the vaccination centers is more than ever. 21737 people received the first vaccine at 330 centers, with 15610 elderly over 60 years of age. At the same time, 2034 people over 45 years of age with severe disease were vaccinated at its centers. At the same time, the second dose of vaccine was given to 6423 health care and front line workers. There were no reported cases of side effects at its centers, while at the 114 centers, the goal was to provide Corona Vaccine. At its centers, 6685 people took the first vaccine, including 4513 elderly people over 60 years of age.

At its centers, 676 people over 45 years of age with severe disease were vaccinated. Here 893 health care and front line workers took the second dose of the vaccine. There was also a case of side effects at its centers. The centers in the West District were the most vaccinated elderly. In this district, 4619 elderly people took the first dose of vaccine. In the North-East district, 706 elderly people were vaccinated. The number of vaccination centers has increased to 444.

239 new cases of the corona, 3 deaths

After 47689 Tests in Delhi in the last 24 hours, 239 new cases of Covid-19 came on Monday and the infection rate also increased to 0.50 percent. In this way 5 people have been found to be corona infected after every 1000 tests. There have been 3 deaths from the disease. The corona recovery rate has come down to about 98 percent. The number of active patients has come down to 1730. According to the Delhi government report released on Monday, 309 more patients have recovered in one day. The number of corona-active patients has decreased as the number of patients recovering from the new case is higher.

According to the report, so far 641340 people have been infected with Corona in Delhi and out of these 628686 people have defeated the Corona virus. A total of one crore 28 lakh 73 thousand 806 samples have been investigated so far in Delhi. The average of the tests is 6,77,568 for every 10 lakh population. At the same time, the overall death rate in Delhi is 1.70 percent. Out of total 5709 beds in Delhi’s Covid hospitals, 5170 beds are vacant. Now 539 are being treated in Delhi hospitals and 947 in home isolation. More than 90 percent of the beds are empty now. The number of hotspot zones has come down to 536.

Jaishankar, at an interactive session titled ‘Vishwa Bandhu Bharat’, stressed the impact of tensions between countries on global economy.
