Controversy Erupt Between ‘Your Fault’ Stars Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara Amid Sequel’s Premiere on Prime Video
The cold war seems to be brewing between the ‘Your Fault’ actors, and the palpable tension was visible as the series premiered on Prime Video.
Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara enamoured their fans with their inseparable bonding, and fans were left wondering if there has been a rift after off-screen tensions became evident.
Nicole and Gabriel, during the promotion of their 2023 film My Fault, were very much together. However, while promoting the sequel earlier this month, Nicole was maintaining distance from her co-star and even refused to be photographed with him.
Also, Nicole Wallace’s cold demeanour towards Gabriel was too evident, and she made no effort to keep it subtle.
What happened between Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara?
When a reporter asked Nicole if the duo were still friends, she replied:
“I can say that we have a very long working relationship. I have known him since I was 16, so very small, so yeah, we have a great working relationship.”
On the other hand, when Gabriel was asked the same question, he said:
“Yes, of course. We’re working now, but outside of that, we’re friends.”
Fans have their theories about the rift, and one theory hinted that the duo were in a relationship in real life before it went sour.
Some fans also attributed Gabriel’s bad behaviour towards Nicole as the reason for the rift, claiming he had commented negatively about his co-star’s weight gain and even said that she was not attractive enough to carry out intimate scenes.
One fan even speculated that Gabriel’s girlfriend did not approve of the on-screen closeness with Nicole Wallace.
However, all these are just speculations, and there is no proof for these rumours.
Culpa Tuya, or Your Fault, was released at midnight GMT on the morning of Friday, December 27, and it once again brought Nicole Wallace (Skam España, Parot) and Gabriel Guevara (Mañana es hoy, Hit) in the roles of Noah and Nick.
The sequel also features other characters like Marta Hazas, Iván Sánchez, Víctor Varona, and Eva Ruiz. The new cast includes Felipe Londono as Luca, Goya Toledo as Anabel, Javier as Michael, Gabriela Andrada as Sofia, and Alex Béjar as Briar.
The movie is directed and written by Domingo González and produced by Pokeepsie Films.
