YouTuber Corey Pritchett Jr. Accused of Aggravated Kidnapping in Texas, Flees to Qatar
Corey Pritchett Jr., a well-known vlogger and rapper, is in a big controversy after he was accused of kidnapping a woman in Texas before fleeing and relocating to another country.
According to the media outlet HuffPost, dated January 4, 2025, a criminal complaint was filed on December 26, 2024, in which the YouTuber was charged with aggravated kidnapping.

The incident happened on November 23, 2024, in Houston. The rapper stands accused of taking a woman on a high-speed car ride accompanied by another woman. He has also been accused of threatening the woman with a firearm.
Later, the rapper flew to Qatar on December 9, 2024, on a one-way ticket. As per media reports, the authorities are trying to get the rapper back to the US.

Corey Pritchett Jr. is a prominent YouTuber who gained fame through his channel @Pritchettfamily, in which he made videos with his ex-wife Carmen Pritchett and has over one million subscribers.
The exact chronology of the events was laid bare in a report by HuffPost and Click2Houston. The report quotes one of the victims, who said that she met the rapper on November 22, 2024, and both exchanged numbers.
The duo met the next day, and the rapper was accompanied by another woman. They went for a workout followed by an ATV ride and bowling. On arriving at the bowling alley, the victim felt that Corey was acting suspiciously and asked him to leave.
The other woman later messaged Corey Pritchett Jr. for some things she had left behind in the car. Corey later offered to drive the woman to their home. However, instead of driving to their home, Corey drove in another direction and started gunning the vehicle at 100 mph. He also pulled out a gold-coloured handgun and started waving it threateningly out of the sunroof of the vehicle.
Corey Pritchett Jr. made a video call to someone with the contact name saved as “Future Wife” and told her:
“He had the perfect opportunity and was driving in the middle of nowhere, and no one could hear them scream.”
Both the women were frightened and believed they would be taken to a secluded spot and killed. Corey also fired a couple of shots when he found both women texting one another. He later pulled the vehicle by the side of the highway and asked the girls to get out of the vehicle.
Later, the woman took the help of a passerby and called 911. The police have corroborated their story with their GPS coordinates, and the screenshots detailing the route and timestamps supported the women’s account of the kidnapping.
