Covid 19 India: In India, Only 145 people died of Covid-19 in 24 hours after 8 months

For the second time in India in this month, less than 14 thousand new cases of Covid-19 were reported, although the total number of infected people in the country increased to 1,05,71,773 after the new cases.

145 more patients died in one day, the lowest in the last nearly 8 months.

According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry, 13,788 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country. Earlier, 12,548 new cases were reported on 12 January. After the death of 145 more people, the death toll rose to 1,52,419.

According to the data, with a total of 1,02,11,342 people becoming infection free, the recovery rate of patients in the country increased to 96.59 percent. The death rate from Covid-19 is 1.44 percent. The number of patients undergoing the virus in the country is less than 3 lakh. A total of 2,08,012 people are undergoing treatment for corona virus infection, which is 1.97 percent of the total cases. In India, the number of infected had crossed 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August and 40 lakh on 5 September.

Total cases of infection had crossed 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October and 90 lakh on 20 November and 1 crore on 19 December. According to the Indian Council of Medical Sciences (ICMR), a total of 18,70,93,036 samples were tested on Covid-19 till 17 January in the country. Of them, 5,48,168 samples were tested on Sunday.
