Cricket fever reaches new heights in Greater Noida as VVIPs from UP and Mumbai Champions prepare for finals

The Indian Veteran Premier League (IVPL) grand finale is all set to take place at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida. VVIP Uttar Pradesh will face off against Mumbai Champions after securing their spots with thrilling victories in the semifinals. Pawan Negi of VVIP UP and Phil Mustard of Mumbai Champions are geared up for the showdown, with Negi being in fine form and Mustard ready to replicate their semi-final performance.

Negi expressed his excitement for the finals and praised the quality of cricket in the IVPL, stating, “We are extremely excited about the finals as a team. We’re all very happy and we will try our best to win tomorrow. My experience with IVPL has been pretty amazing. The quality of cricket here is good and it’s been fun playing.” He also highlighted the opportunity the league provides for retired players to showcase their skills.

Having been in great form throughout the tournament, Negi was the Player of the Match in the semifinals. He credited his performance to consistent practice and adapting his batting position to contribute effectively to the team’s success in the League stage.

On the other hand, Phil Mustard from Mumbai Champions expressed confidence in their readiness for the finale, aiming to build on their strong performance in the semis.
