Deepika Padukone is serving on a tribunal! Last night, the starlet was seen departing Mumbai and headed to the French Riviera, where she made news as the lone Indian on the 75th Cannes Film Festival jury. Deepika looked lovely as she boarded a plane to Cannes, where she will begin her judging duties. Deepika Padukone, who will represent India at one of the world’s most famous film festivals and one of the world’s most highly covered cultural festivals, has a hectic two weeks ahead of her from May 16 to 28. She’ll be there for the duration of the festival.

The actress wore a cozy attire to the airport. Her hair was nicely put in a short ponytail and she was dressed in a comfy co-ord outfit. The jury for Cannes, which also will take place from May 16 to May 28, was selected a few weeks ago. Deepika Padukone, Asghar Farhadi, Noomi Rapace, Rebecca Hall, Trinca, Ladj Ly, Jeff Nichols, and Joachim Trier are among the potential jurors, which includes Vincent Lindon as President.

On The Career Side

Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in the movie “Gehraiyaan” which also starred Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Dhairya Karwa, is excited to work with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in “Pathaan” Siddharth Anand directs the film, which is sponsored by Yash Raj Films.

She also has “Project K” to contend with. Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani join her in the most ambitious production helmed by Nag Aswin of “Mahanati” fame. The movie is currently in development and is described as a science fiction thriller.
