Delhi FC Secures Third Consecutive Win by Beating Rajasthan United in I-League 2023-24

Delhi FC emerged victorious with a 6-3 win over Rajasthan United FC in the I-League 2023-24 match at Namdhari Stadium on Friday. The match showcased Delhi’s dominance, securing their third consecutive win and leaving Rajasthan with their third straight defeat.

Vinil Poojary’s early goal in the 8th minute set the tone for Delhi FC, with Alisher Kholmurodov and Tondomba Singh Naorem adding to the lead before halftime. Although Richardson Denzell managed to score for Rajasthan United in the 20th minute, it wasn’t enough to stop Delhi’s momentum.

The second half saw Rajasthan United falter further, with two own goals by Amritpal Singh and another goal by Hudson Dias extending Delhi’s lead. Despite Denzell’s second goal and Ragav Gupta’s late goal for Rajasthan, Delhi FC sealed their victory with a comfortable 6-3 scoreline.

With 32 points from 23 matches, Delhi FC now stands sixth in the standings and will face Mohammedan FC in their last match on April 13. On the other hand, Rajasthan United remains in 10th place with 25 points and will play their last match against Churchill Brothers FC Goa on April 10.
