Delhi Police arrest two Kashmiri terrorists, 10 cartridges found

The Delhi Police’s Special Cell has foiled a major conspiracy to shake the capital. The special cell has arrested two terrorists on Monday night. Both these terrorists are related to Jaish-e-Mohammed and were trying to carry out a big conspiracy in Delhi.

After Information from the intelligence, the Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested both the terrorists near Millennium Park in Seraikela Khan around 10 pm on Monday night. Police have recovered two semi-automatic pistols and 10 cartridges from them.

According to the police, the names of the arrested militants have been stated to be Abdul Latif Mir and Ashraf Khatana. Both are residents of Jammu and Kashmir (one is from Baramulla while the other is from Kupwara).

Earlier in May, a special cell of Delhi Police caught a militant from the Islamic State of Syria and Iraq after an encounter on Ridge Road near Dhaula Kuan in South Delhi. Explosive material-IED and weapons were seized from this terrorist living in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. This terrorist had revealed during interrogation that there was a plan to carry out a major attack in India.
