Developers in Gurugram call for establishment of reconciliation centre during meeting with RERA officials
Gurugram-based realtors propose the formation of a reconciliation centre during a meeting with RERA officials on Monday. The centre aims to help resolve allottees’ complaints at the initial stage and encourage amicable settlements outside of court. Promoters appreciated RERA Chairman Arun Kumar for his support and assurance to review concerns raised.
During the meeting, promoters highlighted concerns with the project registration process and sought intervention from RERA. Chairman Arun Kumar emphasized the importance of following Act 2016, commitment to transparency, and resolving concerns promptly. More than 100 promoters were in attendance at the meeting.
According to a CREDAI member, the reconciliation centre would include representatives from both promoters and allottees, in addition to RERA officials. The objective is to facilitate peaceful resolution of disputes and create a healthy environment in Gurugram’s real estate sector.
“We assure you of our commitment to transparency and the highest standards of integrity. We have taken note of some of your concerns, which we hope to resolve soon,” stated Chairman Arun Kumar. The proposed reconciliation centre is seen as a positive step towards streamlining conflict resolution in the real estate industry.
