Devendra Fadnavis declares: “India’s decade has arrived” at Pune Viksit Bharat Brand Ambassador event

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis highlighted India’s remarkable economic transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, propelling the nation onto the global stage. He anticipates India becoming the third-largest economy by 2027 and a fully developed nation by 2047.

During his address at the ‘Viksit Bharat Brand Ambassador – Viksit Pune Conclave’, Fadnavis emphasized the significant improvements in GDP growth, inflation rates, FDI inflows, exports, FOREX reserves, and Current Account Deficit under PM Modi’s leadership.

Fadnavis credited this transformation to transparency and political will, citing PM Modi’s vision of ‘Reform, Perform, Transform, and Inform’. He emphasized the government’s focus on welfare reaching every citizen and highlighted initiatives like Jan Dhan scheme, PM Mudra Yojana, and poverty alleviation efforts.

The Maharashtra Deputy CM lauded the government’s efforts in boosting the economy, infrastructure development, job creation, and poverty reduction. He commended PM Modi’s initiatives like ‘Ease of Doing Business’, ‘Make in India’, and ‘Make for India’ for driving the country towards a fully formal and transparent economy.

Fadnavis also highlighted India’s growing stature on the global stage, with increasing infrastructure development, airport expansion, and attracting significant FDI. He emphasized Maharashtra’s role as the leading state in FDI inflows, contributing significantly to India’s economic growth.

The Deputy CM urged individuals to become ambassadors of a developed India by excelling in their respective fields. Fadnavis’s address painted a picture of India’s emergence as a global economic powerhouse under PM Modi’s leadership.
