Did Hawk Tuah Girl Kill Herself? Internet Rife With Rumors About Hailey Welch Suicide?

The $HAWK meme coin phenomenal crash spawned rumours all around and the disappearance of the Hawk Tuah girl, Hailey Welch only added fuel to the rumours of her committing suicide.

There has been no release of any fresh episode on the “Hawk Tuah” girl weekly podcast for the last two weeks. There has been no announcement from her side about any break in the podcast episode.

Welch had also not posted on her social media channels since the $HAWK meme coin debacle.

Did Hawk Tuah Girl Commit Suicide?

Hailey Welch is better known as the Hawk Tuah girl and the phrase made her an internet sensation and her videos spread like wildfire.

Welch was quick to capitalize on her popularity when she started selling wares like T-shirts and finally started her weekly podcast which was titled Talk Tuah.

The podcast was a runaway success and reached the top of the Spotify podcast.

Everything which Welch did was a success until she launched her memecoin $HAWK which proved to be her nemesis.

The meme coin was launched on December 4.

Its value exploded into millions of Dollars before it tanked even more spectacularly losing almost 90% of its value and ordinary investors took the brunt of the loss.

The seesaw-like fluctuations had all the components of a rug pull which was conducted and a few entities made a killing.

Investors have now instituted a lawsuit against the firms and individuals who were connected with the launch of the meme coin. However, Welch has not been made a defendant in the lawsuit.

It was also revealed that a giant proportion of the tokens were held by a few wallets and there are allegations that the insider traders received access to the cryptocurrency before its launch for the public.

This led to scarcity hiking the values to unbelievable levels and later the insiders dumped the meme coins raking in hefty profits.

Welch and OverHere, the crypto team which she had partnered with, tried to resolve the issues when they held a public Spaces stream on X.

In the audio chat, Welch and her team were at the receiving end from the investors and also from YouTube crypto scam investigator Coffeezilla.

However before investors could receive any real answers for the debacle, Welch barged in and curtly announced,

“Hey guys! I hate to interrupt you, Nick, but hello there. Anywho, I’m gonna go to bed and I’ll see you guys tomorrow.”

That was the last time Welch interacted publically and nothing had been heard from the Hawk Tuah girl until last Friday.

In the same audio chat, OverHere tried to give its side and placed all the blame on Alex Larson Schultz, also known as Doc Hollywood.

According to OverHere Shultz was the pointsman in the launch of the $HAWK and ‘controlled all token decisions, fees, treasury.

For the unversed Shultz is a crypto expert and also is a DJ and music producer. Shultz is still to comment on the entire episode.

In the latest development in the ongoing Hawk Tuah saga Welch resurfaced on Friday and issued a statement on X which said,

 “I take this situation extremely seriously and want to address my fans, the investors who have been affected, and the broader community.”

She also gave a grievance link to her aggrieved investors and added,

“I am fully cooperating with and am committed to assisting the legal team representing the individuals impacted, as well as to help uncover the truth, hold the responsible parties accountable, and resolve this matter. This tweet from Hailey Welch has at least dismissed all the suicide rumours that had been going on for days since her disappearance.
