Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump has expressed disappointment after Russian President Vladimir Putin made a sarcastic endorsement of Kamala Harris, questioning its sincerity.
Donald Trump has been portraying his past relationship with Putin as a tough one and also negated concerns about Russian interference in the upcoming US election. He also made fun of the renewed focus on this issue.

Why did Putin endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ candidature or did he really? Remarks by Russian President Putin had an overdose of sarcasm especially when he praised Harris for her “infectious laugh. Experts doubt if he did really endorse the Democratic Presidential candidate.
Trump was initially unsure of Putin’s intentions but later said that he was offended by Putin’s remarks.
Donald Trump made these statements during a rally in Wisconsin on Saturday. He also talked about his past relationship with Putin and stated that he knew Putin well and now he is endorsing Kamala Harris. Trump also stated that he is unsure if the endorsement was a joke or a strategic move.
Trump added,
“Should I be upset? Was it done with a smile? Who knows? I didn’t know, was I supposed to call him up and say thank you very much, I appreciate it? I don’t know – I don’t know exactly what to say about that. I don’t know if I’m insulted or he did me a favor?”
Trump also said that he was very tough on Russia and there is no President who had been tougher on Russia than him.
Putin made the comments at the Eastern Economic Forum in Russia and also urged his supporters to back Kamala Harris. On a lighter note he stated that Kamala Harris had an infectious laugh which is also a sign that everything is going on well for her.
Putin had in the past used sarcasm as a tool against US President Joe Biden who once inappropriately called him a “crazy son of a bitch”. In response Putin praised Joe Biden and sarcastically stated that this is the reason why Moscow held Biden in such high regard.
