The incident happened on 6th January and it is still not clear if the military veteran was really arrested. Did Ray Epps Get Arrested?

One such conspiracy theory is about the alleged role of Ray Epps and his role as an agent provocateur. His wife has also been accused of spreading rumors related to Dominion Voting Systems on Twitter. Another accused of alleged role in the mayhem on 6th January was Tucker Carlson, a Fox News personality.

As per some people who are close to the incidents which happened on Jan 6th Epps had a big role in the happenings of the day but Epps has denied any role of himself or his wife and has also initiated legal proceedings against Fox News for defamation over their coverage of his role in the Capitol riot. He also denied any role or involvement in the happenings or affiliation with the government.

Keeping in view the above facts, people are dying to know the real facts and confirm if Ray Epps has been arrested. Another theory that is making the rounds is that a list has been made of all the people who were involved in the Mayhem on January 6th and Epps name figures in the list. Epps figured in the Most Wanted list put out by the FBI and has been in the list for more than six months. However, a few days back his picture was removed from the list for some inexplicable reason. The fact remains that he has never been arrested or detained for questioning. As already stated, the ex-military veteran has also sued Fox News for defamation recently.

Ray Epps’ defamation lawsuit to Fox News

The lawsuit filed by Epps indicted Fox News for creating a bombastic and fictional tale that Epps was a federal agent to create a scapegoat so that he can be hounded for his alleged role for the raid on Congress. . In January 2021 it was alleged that there is visual evidence on camera that he was goading the followers to enter into the Capitol complex. FBI agents had questioned him about his alleged role but never arrested him. It was stated in a Delaware court on 19th July 2023 that no major damages were caused by Ray Epps actions. Mr. Epps’ attorney also contended that his client and his wife were forced to close their wedding venue in Arizona and relocate to a small RV in Utah due to the persecution and bullying they faced because of the conspiracy theories.
