Diljit Dosanjh pays tribute to Guru Gobind Singh in his Baisakhi song

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh marked the occasion of Baisakhi by releasing a devotional song, ‘Baaj Te Ghoda,’ commemorating the consecration of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singhji in 1699. The song pays homage to the Tenth Guru riding a white stallion with a hawk.

Dosanjh shared a video on Instagram showing his visit to the Gurudwara dressed in traditional attire. The video captured the spiritual atmosphere with prayers being offered and singers performing with a harmonium in the background. The caption shared a verse from the song penned by poet Harmanjeet Singh.

The actor-singer recently surprised fans with a performance alongside Ed Sheeran at the latter’s concert in Mumbai. His streaming movie ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ has been receiving accolades, where he plays the role of the legendary Punjabi artiste Chamkila, who was tragically murdered. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, features Parineeti Chopra opposite Diljit.
