They entertain the guests and visitors. One of the bears is named Liver Lips McGrowl and has been a part of the show for more than 50 years. However, when the Country Bears closed down for renovation, Liver Lips was removed because the word turned out to be offensive.

Liver Lips can be considered offensive and derogatory. The musical, which is shown there, consists of Big Al, Henry, Trixie, Wendell, Teddi Barra, Ernest, Liver Lips McGrowl, and more. Out of these, Romeo will now enter as Liver Lips!

Liver Lips means red swollen lips, and that also indicates the person drinks too much alcohol or smokes. It has also always been a racial and hurtful term that gets used against people with drinking or smoking habits. When the Country Bear Jamboree closed down for renovation this year on January 27, 2024, Disney made several changes to the set.

They changed the costumes, updated the music and dance steps, and added new styles like pop country, rockabilly, and more. Liver Lips is being renamed as Romeo McGrowl. Mac McAnally is the one who’s writing the new country music and also producing all of them for the time being to shake things up in Disney World a bit.
