‘Does Donald Trump Have Dentures ?’: Former US President’s ‘Slurring’ Elon Musk Interview Sparks Debate

The much-touted Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s with former President Donald Trump on X faced initial hiccups and a 45-minute delay due to technical hitches.

This frustrated the viewers who could see a message which read, “Details not available.”

However Trump’s team turned this gaffe into an opportunity and posted,

“Interview on X [was] being overwhelmed with listeners logging in.”

At the start of the interview, Musk apologized for the delay and blamed it on a massive attack on the platform’s systems.

The interview which is reported to have drawn over a million viewers and was streamed on X spaces covered a wide range of topics which included the recent assassination attempt on the former US president, President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the Presidential race and the latest talk of the town, Kamala Harris’ Time magazine cover.

However, the interview became a point of discussion for the most unusual reason Trump’s pronunciation.

Many users started wondering if Trump’s speech issues were due to dentures or something more serious like a mild stroke which led to his speech being slurred.

The social media site X was filled with comments from the users which suggested that Trump may have “dropped his dentures” or had difficulty with enunciation. Many were asking questions about Donald Trump Have Dentures

One listener stated that he did not want to sound insensitive but it looked as if Trump left his dentures out for this interview while Elon Musk sounded like he was on a spectrum.

Another user remarked,

“Seriously, there are two options. His dentures are falling out or he had a stroke. Dude cannot pronounce words at all.”

 A third added,

 “Trump sounds like he has a lisp LMAO every time he says the letter S—are his dentures not fitted properly or what?”

All through the course of the interview terms like “slurring” and “dentures” were trending on X with 20,000 and 15,000 posts respectively.

Kamala Harris’ campaign team was quick to seize the opportunity and criticized his speech, thankfully for his erroneous pronunciation but his views on climate change and rising sea levels which Trump tried to trivialize.

However, Trump’s spokesperson, Steven Cheung responded immediately and stated that there was a misunderstanding and it must have been due to a fault in the hearing.

Musk also insulted Harris several times during the two-hour interview and called her as “third-rate” and “incompetent”. However, he complimented her looks and compared her to the most beautiful actress who ever lived. Talking about a picture of Harris on the cover of Time magazine he said,

“She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live. It was a drawing, and actually, she looked very much like a great first lady, Melania,”

Trump also expressed his deep gratitude to Musk and stated that his endorsement meant a lot to him.

To this Musk responded and said that Trump’s victory would be good for the country.

The interview also touched upon the intersection of personal health and political discourse but what was not on the agenda but became a trending topic was whether Trump wears dentures after ‘slurring’ Musk interview.
