WATCH VIDEO: Cringe at the Doughnut Shop; JD Vance’s Campaign Misstep Captured Online

JD Vance always has been indicted for biting more than what he can chew and his latest faux pass has once again proved that he is a perfect example of this adage.

In a recent campaign, Trump’s running mate once again found himself in an awkward situation when he stopped at Holt’s Sweet Shop in Valdosta, Georgia to grab some doughnuts for his campaign crew before a speech.

However, the situation spiralled into a cringe-worthy episode that had social media buzzing.

The Vice presidential candidate JD Vance walked into the local doughnut shop, aiming to support a small business and perhaps charm some local voters.

However, what he precipitated was a cringe-worthy encounter when an employee requested not to be filmed and the incident went viral on social media.

However, Vance could not gauge the situation and continued his detour and directed the press to exclude her from their shots before introducing himself with a broad smile.

He stated,

“I’m JD Vance, I’m running for vice president,”

However, the employee unenthusiastically said

 “OK.”

Vance tried to start a conversation and asked about the shop’s operations, asking questions about how long the staff had been working there. However, his queries were answered in curt one-word answers.

The exchange, captured on video, left many viewers cringing at the awkwardness.

The video of the incident has bone viral and many users on social media ridiculed Vance’s clumsy approach.

“JD Vance had a very awkward visit to a donut shop in Georgia earlier. Trust us, it’s worse than you even think,”

Another user pointed out to the cringe factor and one user commented,

“I’m JD Vance…I’m running for vice president’….woman has no idea who he is and is just trying to do her job.”

Journalist Aaron Rupar said,

“I don’t think my face will ever un-cringe after watching this,”

Another user pointed out the futility of Vance’s attempt to overshadow the Democratic National Convention’s success.

“Which is as laughably silly as trying to get JD Vance to order doughnuts in a non-cringe manner.”
