DST and T-Hub collaborate to boost AI innovation and support startups in India

In a major development, T-Hub has partnered with DST to launch the machine learning and artificial intelligence technology hub (MATH) aimed at creating 500 AI-related jobs by 2025 and supporting 150 startups annually. The collaboration is set to drive innovation and propel India onto the global stage of technological leadership.

Mahankali Srinivas Rao, CEO of T-Hub, emphasized, “Together, T-Hub and MATH will empower entrepreneurs to harness the power of AI and ML, driving meaningful change.” The growing Indian AI market is expected to reach $17 billion by 2027 with a CAGR of 25-35 per cent.

Rahul Paith, CEO of MATH, highlighted the importance of the centre in harnessing AI and ML potentials to drive innovation and create impact. MATH will offer state-of-the-art facilities including a mini data centre with GPU capabilities, a learning management system for AI education, and robust data infrastructure for AI applications.

Based in Hyderabad, T-Hub has facilitated the growth of over 3,000 startups with a total investment of $1.9 billion. The collaboration with DST signals a significant milestone in India’s AI and ML landscape, paving the way for cutting-edge technological advancements and increased job opportunities in the sector.
