EC assigns scissor symbol to Pappu Yadav

Former MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, has decided to stay in the Lok Sabha election race in Bihar’s Purnea seat despite Congress’ request to withdraw his nomination. Yadav, contesting as an Independent with scissors as his symbol, aims to bring development to Purnea by providing jobs to 10,000 families.

After the Election Commission allotted him the symbol, Yadav expressed his determination to uplift Purnea from backwardness and create opportunities for its residents. With NDA’s Santosh Kushwaha (JD-U) and Mahagatbandhan’s Bima Bharti (RJD) also in the running, Purnea is set for a triangular contest in the upcoming election.

Despite Congress’ directive, Pappu Yadav remains a key player in the Purnea seat battle. His aspiration to transform the constituency and create employment opportunities highlights his commitment to the welfare of the people. As the election approaches, all eyes are on the outcome of this fiercely contested race.
