India Election Results 2024 Live Updates: Will The BJP-Led NDA Be Thrice Lucky?

All eyes are now on the counting of votes of the Lok Sabha 2024 elections and the air is heavy with the question –Can the NDA pull out a hat trick of the INDIA alliance to spring up a surprise! The counting of the votes will start at 08.30 IST and we will keep you updated with every tit bit of information of value.
The Narendra Modi led NDA will script history if it is able to pull off a hat trick and retain power. However the Opposition is upbeat and predicts that the people of India want a change. All major exit polls are predicting a NDA victory and the BJP is expected to better its tally of 303 seats which it won in the 2019 elections. Different exit polls conducted by various agencies have predicted NDA receiving a majority.
- India-Today-My Axis poll and Today’s Chanakya projected the NDA tally to be over 400 seats
- ABP-CVoter gave them 353-383 seats
- Jan Ki Baat estimated the ruling alliance may win between 362 seats and 392 seats.
- News18 Mega Exit Poll suggested that the BJP could win a majority with 305 to 315 seats and Congress might win over 62-72 seats.
However exit polls have gone wrong in the past. For example in 2019 did not gauge the Modi wave and the NDA obtained 353 seats with the BJP alone obtaining a clear majority of 303 seats.

He is pitted against Uttar Pradesh Congress chief and a seasoned politician with roots in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Ajay Rai.
Rahul Gandhi Is Standing From Two Constituencies- Wayanad and Raebareli.
Rahul Gandhi , the sitting MP from Wayanad will also contest from the Rae Bareli constituency for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections. In Wayanad he will be pitted against BJP state president K Surendran and CPI leader Annie Raja in Wayanad while his opposition candidate in Raebareli is Bharatiya Janata Party’s Dinesh Pratap Singh.
