Elon Musk: AI Chatbot ‘Grok 2’ Enters Training to Exceed Expectations

New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that AI chatbot ‘Grok 2’ is in training and set to surpass current AI capabilities upon release. The improved Grok-1.5 version will be available on X next week with enhanced reasoning abilities.

Musk stated, “Grok 2 should exceed current AI on all metrics. In training now.” Notably, Grok-1.5 excels in coding and math-related tasks, achieving impressive scores in the MATH and GSM8K benchmarks, as per xAI, Musk’s AI company.

With a 74.1 percent score on the ‘HumanEval’ benchmark, assessing code generation and problem-solving skills, Grok-1.5 proves its proficiency in various areas. It also boasts the ability to process long contexts of up to 128,000 tokens, enhancing memory capacity significantly.

The tech billionaire highlighted that the AI chatbot’s performance in coding and math-related tasks has been exceptional. Musk’s AI company, xAI, revealed that Grok-1.5 achieved high scores in the MATH and GSM8K benchmarks, as well as in the ‘HumanEval’ benchmark, showcasing its problem-solving abilities.

Grok-1.5 is equipped with a new feature allowing it to process long contexts of up to 128,000 tokens within its context window. This enhancement enables Grok to utilize information from longer documents efficiently, signifying a major advancement in AI technology.
