Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg Cage Fight: Musk Ready to Fight ‘any place, any time, any rules’

In a fresh video posted by Fox News reporter Kelly Phares on X, the Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that he is still open to getting his a** handed to him by Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Throughout much of last year, the two billionaires were testing the possibility of a cage fight, though nothing came of it. Musk declared on Wednesday, “I’ll fight Zuckerberg any place, any time, any rules.”

Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg Cage Fight in Talks Again

To many, it seemed like Musk was just chest-thumping because, since this whole episode began, Zuckerberg has publicly been practicing mixed martial arts (MMA) for years.

When asked to respond to Musk’s latest salvo, Zuckerberg merely said, “Are we really doing this again?”

Zuckerberg is well-known for his love of combat sports and has multiple medals in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournaments. His love for combat sports has even been included as a risk in Meta’s business in its annual report filed in February.

However, Musk seems oblivious to his opponent’s prowess and has often said that he will prevail due to his weight, which is at least 300 lbs (136 kg). Zuckerberg, on the other hand, competed in the featherweight division last May in a BJJ tournament, weighing 154.5 lbs (70 kg), which is well within the limits of the featherweight division.

Just after Zuckerberg won a medal in a BJJ tournament, Musk acknowledged that he hardly exercised, and his intense physical activity included picking up his kids and throwing them in the air. This makes it even more embarrassing that Musk has cultivated a belief that he could defeat a dedicated athlete in a particular sport.

The genesis of the Elon Musk-Mark Zuckerberg cage fight speculations can be traced back to June 2023, when the SpaceX CEO raised the possibility of a fight and posted on X that he was up for an Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg cage fight.

At that time, many thought it was a joke, but things became serious when Zuckerberg responded with an Instagram Story screenshotting the post and telling Musk, “Send me location.”

Musk wrote on X, “Vegas Octagon. I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus,’ where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing.”

The reply indicated that Musk was not serious and never truly intended to fistfight Zuckerberg.

The matter ended then, but Musk in August 2023 announced that his fight with Zuckerberg would be live-streamed on X for charity. Zuckerberg responded by saying that he would prefer a more reliable platform that could actually raise money for charity. Zuckerberg also suggested the date of August 26 for the epic fight instead of June, which was suggested by Musk.
