Erica Banks Faces Backlash for Sharing Personal Moments with Late Rapper Rich Homie Quan After His Death
On September 5, 2024, Erica Banks, who is a rapper, shared a tribute to her fellow artist Rich Homie Quan on Instagram as he suddenly died on the same day.
Homie was found dead in his home in Atlanta.
His death was very mysterious as it was sudden, and the cause of it hasn’t been revealed yet.
Erica Banks Criticized for Sharing Personal Moments with Late Rich Homie Quan
Erica’s post on Instagram got her involved in controversy as she did not censor the private moments with Homie, like a video of him kissing her on the face and where he was resting on her lap, and more.
Erica Banks also posted a screenshot of his last text to her, where he was expressing how he felt for her and more.
The caption read,
“All you wanted was to find happiness again… I always saw it in your face and heard it in your voice… But you had so much left to do…”
Erica mentioned in her caption that Homie wanted to accomplish so much in his life, and now his life was cut short.
Even though Erica Banks later deleted the post, “The Shade Room” posted the same on Instagram, and many people criticized her for sharing such intimate details online to the public.
A user commented,
“To find out and SEE my partner was doing all of this while we was together on his death day, not even a full 24 hours in, to process the death, at that, the long term girlfriend being the one that found him, is the nastiest hurt to ever feel. Prayers to their family!”
The death news of Homie was confirmed by his girlfriend, Amber Williams.
Amber went to drop her kids off at school, and when she came back, she found Homie unresponsive in the house.
Paramedics were called immediately, and upon arriving at the scene, Homie was announced dead.
Nothing else, no information of this, has been out in the public for the time being.
