ESFI Begins Registration for National Esports Championships 2024

The Esports Federation of India (ESFI) has announced the opening of registrations for the National Esports Championships (NESC) 2024, leading up to the 16th World Esports Championships (WEC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The WEC 2024 will feature 609 teams competing in five game titles with a $1 million prize pool.

Scheduled to commence on November 11, the NESC 2024 will showcase talent in DOTA 2, eFootball, and Counter-Strike 2 in open and female categories. Winners will progress to regional qualifiers, aiming for a spot in the WEC 2024 global finals against other Asian nations.

ESFI President Vinod Tiwari expressed excitement for NESC 2024, following India’s success at the Asian Games 2023. The tournament will build on last year’s achievements, including the first female CS:GO qualifiers. Tiwari anticipates even greater accomplishments this year, emphasizing the talent and passion of Indian Esports players.

Registrations for NESC 2024 are open until April 15, with online qualifiers starting on April 18 using a double-elimination format. India’s Esports community is gearing up for a competitive season, aiming to make a mark on the international stage at WEC 2024.
