LS polls: Ex-MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan boards train to reach Vidisha

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the BJP’s candidate from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat, embarked on a journey from Bhopal to Ganj Basoda in a sleeper coach on Thursday. Accompanied by his wife Sadhna Singh, Chouhan interacted with co-passengers during the trip.

In a video message, Chouhan expressed his dedication to serving the people of Vidisha, a constituency he has a strong connection with for several decades. Having served as Madhya Pradesh’s CM for 17 years, Chouhan sees this new role as an opportunity to continue his service to the people.

Before assuming the role of Chief Minister in 2005, Chouhan had won five Lok Sabha elections from the Vidisha constituency. Now, after nearly two decades, he is once again contesting in the Parliamentary elections, aiming to receive the blessings of the people he has served for years.
