Expected Updates for the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire

Maruti Suzuki India Limited is gearing up to launch the 2024 Swift and the Dzire in the Indian market. The test mules of both vehicles have been spotted on Indian roads, with the launch expected in the coming months. The new models will come with several updates for customers to look forward to.

In terms of exterior updates, the 2024 Swift will retain its iconic silhouette but will feature new bumpers, lights, alloy wheels, and rear door handles. On the other hand, the design of the Dzire sedan has not been unveiled yet, but spy shots suggest better integration of the boot into the bodywork, new tail lamps, and potential changes to the bumpers.

Moving on to the interior, both the 2024 Swift and Dzire will share a modern cabin inspired by the Baleno. The Swift will sport a black and off-white theme, while the Dzire is expected to have a beige and black theme. Updates include new dials for the instrument cluster, an upgraded infotainment system, and the possibility of a sunroof in the Dzire, a first-in-segment feature.

In terms of the engine, Maruti Suzuki will introduce a new three-cylinder, naturally aspirated unit codenamed Z12E for the 2024 Swift and Dzire. The engine will deliver 80 bhp of power and 108 Nm of torque, offering a fuel efficiency figure of 24 kmpl. Despite being slightly less powerful than the current Swift’s engine, the new unit promises better fuel efficiency for customers. The launch of these updated models is highly anticipated by Maruti Suzuki enthusiasts in India.
