The internet has been flooded with videos which claimed that disgraced music baron; Sean “Diddy” Combs had passed out in the court after he was handed a life sentence.
For the unversed; Sean “Diddy” Combs is awaiting trial and is facing a slew of charges which include charges of coercion and abuse.
Diddy’s lawyers are seeking a bail which the prosecutors oppose, fearing that Diddy using his influence will influence the witnesses. His trial is expected to commence on May 5th.
The viral video managed to get 413,403 views in just one week. The thumbnail of the post contained a collage of pictures of a man in an orange jail suit seated on a wheelchair. Another image showed the same person lying prostrate on the ground.
The latest video which has become viral on the internet allegedly showing Diddy fainting after hearing his life sentence is misleading but its clickbait title has been able to fulfil its agenda of becoming a major sensation for the American public.
The video is fake because the trial of Diddy has not even started and it is believed to commence next year in May. The case is still under investigation and the legal process is ongoing as per the latest media reports.
The video in all probability has been created using AI or other means since there is no instance of live streaming of his trial. Also, the news if true would have been breaking and would have been featured in almost all major news networks and print media.
Diddy has been charged with kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual acts employing threats of violence.
The Police during the investigation had raided his Los Angeles mansion where the music baron held his infamous parties which were attended by the big Whigs of the entertainment industry as well as personalities from the political spectrum.
The police had seized several items which included drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil. Diddy Combs has denied all the charges and has entered a not-guilty plea. Combs is currently being held at the Brooklyn facility.
