Family attempts to comprehend daughter’s relationship with cabbie in ‘Family Aaj Kal’ trailer

The trailer for the new streaming drama series ‘Family Aaj Kal’ was released, showcasing a girl revealing her love affair with a cab driver to her family. The trailer depicts the family’s reaction and their concerns about the future. To gain insight, the parents undergo an interrogation with cab drivers in Delhi.

Apoorva Arora stars as the lead character, Meher, who shakes up her family by announcing her intention to marry a cab driver. The series also features Sonali Sachdev, the late Nitesh Pandey, Aakarshan Singh, Prakhar Singh, and Masood Akhtar. The storyline delves into the financial and social aspects of a cab driver’s life, highlighting the complexities of modern family dynamics.

In a statement, Apoorva Arora shared her excitement about portraying Meher and shedding light on an often overlooked aspect of family life. “Family Aaj Kal’ offers a glimpse into the everyday struggles and joys of a modern family,” she said. Produced by Anushka Shah and directed by Parikshit Joshi, this series will be available on Sony LIV from April 3.
