The yatra will begin on March 12

Assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam will begin on March 27.

More than 280 farmers killed

The SKM also said that the number of farmers who ‘sacrificed their lives’ in the Protest rose to more than 280 on Tuesday. He said, “Today, 50-year-old Radheshyam farmer of Jind district of Haryana were martyred at the Tikari border.” The farmers’ organization on Monday also condemned the ‘attack’ of ‘ABVP’ workers on Labor rights activist Navdeep Kaur at Delhi University.

Tikait will address Mahapanchayat in Ballia, UP

Congress- Left parties got support

He said that the distance from Sikandarpur to Bihar is about five kilometers and this mahapanchayat is being held in Sikandarpur to strengthen the movement against the new agricultural law in eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He told that this Kisan Mahapanchayat has the support of Congress, the Left parties as well as various Farmer leaders organizations. Superintendent of Police, Dr. Vipin Tada said that necessary security arrangements have been made keeping in view the Kisan Mahapanchayat.
