Farmers hold candlelight marches on Punjab-Haryana borders

Agitating farmers took to the streets in a candlelight march to demand legal guarantee of minimum support price for their crops. Sarwan Singh Pandher stated that the protest will continue until their demands are met, even during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The farmers have been camping at the Khanauri and Shambhu borders of Punjab with Haryana as their march to the capital was halted on February 13. Pandher mentioned that the next steps for their movement will be announced on February 29. The farmers are determined to see their demands fulfilled, showing no signs of backing down.

The support for the farmers’ cause is strong as they continue to gather at the interstate borders of Punjab and Haryana. The candlelight marches signify their resolve to fight for their rights and ensure a better future for themselves. The farmers are united in their mission and are prepared to extend their protest beyond the imposition of the model code of conduct for the upcoming elections.
