First Look: 2025 Hyundai Tucson Revealed at New York Auto Show

The 2025 Hyundai Tucson has been unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, featuring cosmetic changes and new features. The 2.5L models will arrive in U.S. dealerships in June 2024, with hybrid models following later. As of now, there is no official announcement regarding its release in the Indian market, but the possibility remains for it to arrive through the CKD route by the end of this year or next year.

The interior has been revamped with a more open feel, showcasing a newly designed panoramic curved display combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display. The center stack has been redesigned for better driver controls access, while the center console, steering wheel, and door panel accents have all been updated for a modern look and improved functionality.

Additionally, the 2025 Tucson boasts a redesigned front-end with an updated grille, bumper, and LED Daytime Running Lamps to give a sharper and more aggressive look. The sides feature new alloy wheels, anodized aluminum badging, and sharp creases, with a longer rear wiper for increased coverage. The transmission is now controlled by a column-mounted stick, freeing up space in the center console, and all trims feature a larger, 12.3-inch hoodless infotainment touchscreen.

The new infotainment system offers faster processing speeds, enhanced colors, sharper graphics, and more intuitive layouts for improved ease of use. The wireless device quick-charging pad (15-watt) has been relocated to a more convenient space for the driver. The 2025 Hyundai Tucson showcases a blend of style, functionality, and technological advancement, making it a promising addition to the SUV market.
