Flagstaff Shooting At Bushmaster Park In Arizona, Armed and Dangerous Suspect Arrested

A violent shooting incident has been reported in Arizona. The incident is currently under investigation by the Flagstaff Police Department, as reported by local media outlets, reported Arizona Daily

The shooting incident occurred in the area of Bushmaster Park, 3150 N Alta Vista D, Arizona. The Flagstaff shooting incident took place on Wednesday around 11:15 a.m.

However, the complete details about the incident have not been disclosed yet. Authorities confirmed in a social media post that no injuries or casualties have been reported in the Flagstaff shooting incident. 

Flagstaff police announced that the eyewitnesses present on the spot said that at the time when the shooting incident broke out, a man shot a handgun. 

About the Suscept

Witnesses described him as a male between 20 and 30 years of age. He looked like a Native American male having a slim physique. The suspect was wearing all black. Certain witnesses also mentioned possible tattoos on his arms.

Police added that the suspect left the Bushmaster park after shooting and headed towards the north or west. Currently, police are searching for the suspect. 

The suspect was considered armed and dangerous. 

According to Times Now, the Flagstaff Police Department went to its official Facebook account and posted, “At approximately 11:15 am a report of shots fired was received by Flagstaff Police in the area of Bushmaster Park, 3150 N Alta Vista Dr. Witnesses in the area described the individual shooting the handgun as a slim-built Native American male, approximately 20–30 years old, wearing all black and possibly having a tattoo on his arms. No injuries were reported at Bushmaster Park.”

Local media outlets added that this shooting incident prompted various high schools like Flagstaff high school, Summit high schools, Coconino high school, Mount Elden and Sinagua middle schools, Puente de Hózhó and Thomas and Killip elementary schools to go on lockdown temporarily. Later, the schools were downgraded to shelter in place.

The police department in its post added, “Law enforcement personnel are actively following up on leads and searching for the individual who was reported to have fled in a north to west direction from Bushmaster Park after the shooting. If anyone has information regarding this individual or possibly sees the individual, please call Flagstaff Police. The subject is considered armed at this time.”

UPDATE: Suspect Has Been Arrested

As per Kaff News, the suspect was located in the area of Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue. He is a 33-year old, identified as Alan French. Alan is currently at the Coconino County Detention Facility.
