Former Karnataka CM Jagadish Shettar says victory will come easily in Belagavi constituency
Former Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP Belagavi candidate, Jagadish Shettar, expressed confidence in securing victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the Belagavi constituency. Shettar highlighted his past work in the district and the support of sitting MP Mangala Angadi.
Shettar emphasized that his experience as a district in-charge minister in Belagavi will be beneficial in the election. He dismissed the importance of caste calculations, stating his strong connection with the voters in the district. Shettar sees Belagavi as his ‘Karma Bhoomi’ and is counting on the support of the youth to win the election.
“The victory won’t be difficult for us. When the Late MP Suresh Angadi was the district president and I was the Leader of the Opposition, we had taken up the party’s organisational work in the constituency,” Shettar told media persons, exuding confidence in the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming election.
Shettar also mentioned that the sitting MP, Mangala Angadi, has assured him of support in the election. He emphasized the importance of winning the confidence of all sections of voters in Belagavi to secure victory. With the election approaching, Shettar is optimistic about the BJP’s chances in the constituency.
