Four Persons Killed in Road Accident in Karnataka’s Vijayapura District

Vijayapura (Karnataka), April 13 (IANS) – Tragedy struck in Arjunagi village in Vijayapura district of Karnataka as four individuals lost their lives in a road accident on Saturday morning. The deceased have been identified as Arjun Kushal Singh Rajput, Ravinath Pattar, Puspa Ravinath Pattar, and Megharaja Rajput.

The fatal accident occurred due to a head-on collision between the victims’ car and a truck. They were on their way to a temple in Jamkhandi town from Vijayapura city. The truck carrying cement was headed towards Vijayapura from Jamakhandi. The investigation is currently ongoing to determine the exact cause of the tragedy.

Vijayapura SP Rishikesh Sonawane Bhagawan visited the accident site where the car was left severely damaged. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Babaleshwar police station. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
