Free Covid-19 vaccine for all in Bihar: Nitish Kumar

During the Bihar Assembly Elections, the NDA government promised to give the corona vaccine free to all the people of the state. Now Nitish government is going to fulfill this promise. The government has decided that from March 1, the people of the state will not have to pay a single penny for the corona vaccine. This means that from today, the Bihar government will bear the full cost of the corona vaccine to be applied in private hospitals.

The decision has been taken after reviewing the third phase of the corona vaccine on Sunday under the chairmanship of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This decision states that vaccines will be given free of cost to people even in private hospitals.

Nitish Kumar was born on 1 March 1951 in Bakhtiarpur, Bihar. He is leading the alliance of Janata Dal, BJP, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Vikashan Insaan Party (VIP) in Bihar. Creating a new history in Bihar politics, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of the state for the seventh time after the NDA victory in the assembly elections last year.

He said that I appeal to all those who are eligible to get the Corona virus vaccine. Together we will make India free from Covid-19. As part of the second phase vaccination campaign, from March 1, senior citizens and people over the age of 45 suffering from serious illnesses will be vaccinated. For vaccination, people will be able to register themselves on other IT applications such as Covein Two-Point Zero Portal or Arogya Setu.
