A delegation from Gambia visited Gujarat University to discuss safety measures after an attack on foreign students. The officials from the Gambian High Commission in New Delhi met with the Vice-Chancellor and expressed satisfaction with the university’s actions to protect the students. Following the incident, the university has implemented new security measures and lodged an FIR against the perpetrators.

Nearly 30 students from Gambia study at Gujarat University, where the attack on foreign students took place. The Gambian delegation, which included officials from the High Commission and a student representative, sought reassurance regarding the security of their students on campus.
