Is TV Personality Gayle King Suing Oprah Winfrey in Connection With Sean Diddy Comb’s Allegations? Debunking The News!

The Sean Diddy Combs saga fails to subside, and every day a new development is seen. Certain clips have been circulating on the internet which talk about 69-year-old TV personality Gayle King suing Oprah Winfrey in connection with Combs’ allegations.

According to the rumours, ‘CBS Mornings’ co-anchor Gayle King filed a lawsuit against her decades-old friend related to criminal allegations against rapper and recording artist Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Is TV Personality Gayle King Suing Oprah Winfrey Over Sean Diddy Combs’ Allegations?

Snopes in a report stated that a user had inquired through an email if the rumours were true. The reader wrote,

“Is it true that Gayle King is suing Oprah over P.Diddy’s allegations? I saw something on Facebook.”

The genesis of the rumours can be traced to several videos that were uploaded by a Facebook Gossip Page of dubious background named Black Celebrities.

The video did not feature any newsreader, but an AI tool has been used which processed the text into spoken words. The Facebook Page is managed from Indonesia, which first promoted the rumours.

The rumour is false, and it must be debunked.

This is evident from the fact that no news or media house of repute has covered this news. One of the reasons for this is that there is no irrefutable proof of the claims that King has sued Oprah.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing serious charges relating to racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution in the Manhattan federal court.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music baron who created a hit-churning enterprise and also involved big-name performers. He created a niche for himself as a savoir-faire music mogul with an envious record of three Grammys. He also struck many high-profile deals with the bigwigs of the industry.

However, after the arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, Combs’ empire is crashing down. He was arrested in New York on Sept. 16 and was indicted for using his power and prestige to trap female victims and male sex workers in ‘Freak Offs,’ along with charges of abuse dating back to 2008. If convicted, he will have to spend 15 years in prison. He is awaiting trial after pleading not guilty.
