In one screenshot, Gerg can be seen saying:
“Shut up, you f**ing dumb n***r.”
Gerg’s diatribe did not end there. In another screenshot, he can be seen reacting to a moderator’s criticism, referring to him as an “underage retard.”
The screenshots may have been leaked by former moderators to reveal the hostile and toxic environment behind the scenes of Gerg’s online community.
Gerg’s fanbase is divided after the leaks, with some defending him while others are calling for accountability.
Gerg has responded to the allegations after the backlash in a detailed Google Document, in which he denied the allegations. He also called the screenshots fake and implicated a former friend and Discord moderator named Bishop in the incident.
Gerg alleged that Bishop had a romantic obsession with him, and when he rejected Bishop’s advances, their relationship soured. He claimed that Bishop used fake screenshots to make it look like he had used racial slurs. He also alleged that Bishop tried to turn other moderators against him, deleted channels, and leaked private details in a bid to tarnish his reputation.
Gerg further claimed that there was a coordinated attack carried out by rogue moderators, which threw the Discord server into chaos. The acrimony within the team intensified after he shut down Gerg World, his Minecraft server, due to financial issues.
Gerg also shared screenshots in which Bishop can allegedly be seen confessing to fabricating the evidence to support his claims. However, the authenticity of Gerg’s defence is being questioned, and many netizens remain sceptical about his protests and claims of innocence.
