Goa government focused on improving accessibility to healthcare: Minister Rane

Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has announced plans to improve accessible healthcare in the region by introducing new ambulances. During the launch of six Basic Life Support (BLS) and two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances, Rane emphasized the importance of reducing response time and saving lives.

Rane highlighted the significance of these ambulances in enhancing health services in Goa. He expressed the need for 30 more ambulances, including 10 cardiac ambulances, to replace older ones and ensure timely medical assistance for patients. The ALS ambulances are specifically tailored to cater to individuals with cardiac conditions.

The introduction of these advanced ambulances signifies a step towards enhancing emergency medical services in Goa. The government’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare and improving response time reflects a proactive approach towards addressing the healthcare needs of the community.
