Gold Price Today 8th January 2021: Gold and silver prices were also seen to be falling today. The prices of both metals have been seen decreasing since the last three days. In the bullion markets across the country, on Friday, the 24-carat gold spot price opened at Rs 274 per 10 grams, at Rs 50775, while in silver, it was cheaper by Rs 127 and opened at Rs 68465 per kg. In the last two days, a decrease of Rs 885 per 10 grams has been recorded in the price of gold.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) here, at 10:29 pm, the price of gold in February 2021 was broken by Rs 202, ie 0.40 percent, at Rs 50,702 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the price of gold was Rs 50,904 per 10 grams. In April 2021, delivery gold was down by Rs 180, or 0.35 percent, to Rs 50,760 per 10 grams. In the last session (Thursday), the price of gold for the April contract was Rs 50,940 per 10 grams.

Silver for morning delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell by Rs 302, or 0.43 percent, to Rs 69,660 per kg. In the previous session, the price of silver was Rs 69,962 per kg. At the same time, in May 2021, the price of contract silver fell by Rs 325, which was 0.46 percent to Rs 70,655 per kg. In the previous session, the price of silver for the May contract was Rs 70,980 per kg.

Gold Price in Global Market
In February 2021, the price of delivery gold was down by $ 2.40, or 0.13 percent, at $ 1,911.20 an ounce on Comex. There was also a decline in the price of gold in the spot market. In the global market, the spot price of gold fell by $ 5.67, or 0.30 percent, to $ 1,908.28 an ounce.
Silver Price in Global Market
Silver for delivery in March 2021 was trading at $ 0.16, or 0.57 percent, on Comex at $ 27.11 an ounce. At the same time, silver was down $ 0.13, or 0.48 percent, at $ 27.01 an ounce in the spot market.
