Good News Noida Folks! Restaurants In IT Parks Can Now Serve Liquor. Happy New Year!

Good news for the Noida people, IT companies can now serve liquor. Indeed a happy new year for many of us. People who are in IT firms can now have a good time with friends during their leisure time. Recently, Noida officials have issued a statement that IT parks will now be able to serve alcohol along with new bars.

Earlier, many properties in the city were allowed to have restaurants, gyms as well as a sports clubs. But they were not allowed to serve liquor. Many IT firms demanded to allow them to serve liquor to their employees through bars and restaurants. Something their staff members can enjoy during their free time after stress day at work. 

The NOIDA government has now announced that restaurants in IT parks can serve alcohol, but only after obtaining the necessary permits. It has also been mentioned that the opening of new bars on the premises will also be allowed.

After seeing the response, the Noida authority revised its policy for institutional properties that are spread over 5 acres. A meeting was conducted in order to discuss the many long-pending demands. Additionally, serving alcohol in IT parks will help in boosting the district’s earnings. They approved the discussion during the discussion. RB Singh, excise officer (Gautam Budh Nagar) stated- ‘NOIDA is an emerging IT destination, this move is totally a good one’.

He also added, IT firms in places like Bangalore and Gurgaon are allowed to serve liquor. Because of a lot of restrictions IT, as well as ITES parks in the city, didn’t have liquor permits. In order to get it, applications have to be sent to the excise department. There, all the documents are checked and regulated before giving the final permit.
