Google Pixel 7a has been rolled out at Google’s I/O 2023 event. Among other launched products, Google Pixel 7a is more towards an affordable lineup. However, this smartphone is also breathtaking in an affordable range.

Price and Availability

In India, the Pixel 7a smartphone will be made available in an 8GB and 128GB storage variant. Moreover, the same smartphone will cost around Rs. 43,999 in India. Indians who are interested to buy this Smartphone can buy it from Flipkart. There will be a sale on Flipkart commencing on May 11. An instant discount of Rs 4000 can also be availed by the customers if purchased via HDFC Bank cards. The effective price of this Smartphone would be, Rs. 39,999. The Pixel 7a is available in three color variants, Sea, Snow, and Charcoal.

This smartphone comes with a display of 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Moreover, Corning’s Gorilla Glass protects the display along with HDR support. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner on its display. This time, Google has also upgraded the processor of Pixel 7a to its recent update Tensor G2 SoC. Tensor G2 SoC also powers Pixel 7 Pro along with Pixel 7 Smartphones. The processor also comes with 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a Titan M2 security co-processor.

The connectivity options available on this smartphone are global positioning systems, NFC, Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C (3.2 Gen 2) port. The smartphone is powered by a 4,385mAh battery. However, at the time of buying charger is not available in the box. For the first time, Google has inculcated wireless charging in its Pixel 7a smartphone. This phone supports the Qi charging standard.

On the optics front, Google Pixel 7a has witnessed a tremendous and noticeable upgrade from its previous model. This smartphone offers a primary camera with an OIS of 64-megapixel.
