Grand Theft Auto VI video leaks on the internet, sparks outrage in the gaming community

Since the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI’s poster, the whole internet has been buzzing. Reportedly, some videos of the game were leaked by the son of Aaron Garbut, Art Director at Rockstar Games. The sudden leak caused a sensation on social media.

The origin of the leak was later tracked. It was by a friend of Garbut’s 16-year-old son. As per news reports, his friend allegedly accessed Garbut’s laptop during a gameplay session. He secretly filmed a short clip of the most-awaited game GTA VI.

Later he released the video on various social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn and Reddit. It has been claimed that they were testing the game on behalf of his friend’s father.

The leak has turned into a global scandal. The gaming community was shocked to see how the multi-billion dollar company might face this situation. Furthermore, the Rockstar Games’ internal security is questioned. Many are waiting for their official response over the leak scandal.
