Greater Noida to get Train Connectivity Soon, authorities are plan to expand Boraki Railway Station

Gautam Buddha Nagar consists of two cities i.e Greater Noida and Noida. They are also the most significant revenue contributor to the Uttar Pradesh government. Additionally. During Global Investors Summit they grabbed the top spot. Although the city faces many issues including better rail as well as air connectivity. In the meantime, Noida International Airport is in the pipeline at Jewar hoping to solve the air travel issues. Currently, the city has only one station i.e Dadri situated in the district offering services only on the main routes of the Northern railway. Not many trains stop here. Citizens had to use stations like New Delhi, Ghaziabad and Anand Vihar. Now, the government is planning to expand Boraki Railway Station.

Noida latest updates

The government is planning to revamp the Boraki station in Greater Noida by building a multi-modal transport hub consisting metro station, a railway station and a bus stand. In order to provide better connectivity a skywalk will be built that will connect the bus stand and metro station to the railway station. With that, passengers do not have to walk with luggage from the bus stand to the railway station. 

As per officials, the project’s entire blueprint has been prepared. The Government of India along with the Greater Noida authority have planned a multi-modal transport and logistics hub on 478 hectares around 7 villages of Boraki. The approval for the project has been received by the Government of India. As of now, 80% of the land for the project has been acquired. 

The entire project will help the commuters of Greater Noida to travel effectively without going to other stations including New Delhi, and Anand Vihar to name a few. Plus the infrastructure for the city will tend to improve.
